How many mA can a coiled phone cord handle from a 6v battery? - camera flash battery pack not bad at all!
I am building a package of 6V sealed lead-acid battery that provides power to a camera flash to offer old. I would use a spiral cable, because, until all is clean. Telephone cables are cheap and plentiful, but do not want to cause a risk of overload and short circuit wire.

What is the maximum current consumption of the flash needed?
The son of the coil (retractable cable) comes in all flavors. Some aluminum-wire telephone cable spool with very thin (foil) spirally wound on a warp of the fabric. It is better to find a power cord and it can cross over to a power source, the constant current equal to the electricity required to offer by lightning. You do not want the wire temperature to rise above 10 degrees C over-crowded.
There are professional cable reel, rather than the 28 to 16 AWG.
Forgot BTW, you do not, a backup to the battery (3 to 5 times the current of the flash needed) Put. Lead-acid batteries can provide large amounts of electricity in a short circuit, regardless of the size of the battery. If something goes wrong (go short somewhere in your wiring a cord) is very hot and could burn, sending thick smoke, fire and / or overheating of the battery catostrophically (something you really want to avoid).
